First words...and more

So it is official, Emma said her first word last night, and it was

mama!!  

And she also accomplished one more thing...she slept from 7:30 PM until 5 AM.   You can imagine how me and Nick felt this morning when we both woke up to the alarm and asked each other, "did you get up with Emma last night" lol!!  Hopefully this will be an ongoing trend for her...we can hope anyway.

Bye bye harness...

 We went to the orthopedist today and had another x-ray taken.  Emma's hips are doing good, her left one still isn't as good as the right one, but the doctor said that she can come out of the harness until May 2nd.  We will go back then and have another x-ray done and go from there.  He said if she wants to walk, or crawl, or do whatever to let her, not to hold her back.  Good news for now, and I am happy she will go almost 3 months without having to worry about it.
